7 DAY AUTUMN TOUR TO SOUTH TYROL
As soon as mother nature starts to change her colour
it is time to care about our old traditions,
such as "törggelen", the "punches of grapes feast" in Meran, or the "coming home" of cows and sheeps from the alps.Nachstehend gewähren wir Ihnen einen Einblick, wie ihre Südtirolreise aussehen kann. Gerne erstellen wir Ihnen aber auch ein Angebot mit Ihren ganz persönlichen Wünschen und Vorstellungen.
1. day: Arrival
You will be welcomed by the innkeeper`s family with a welcome appetizer, dinner
2. day: Meran - museum of archeology - wine cellars
After breakfast you go for the city of famous cures and flowers Meran with local guide. You are sightseeing the city and the famous promenade while it`s in full bloom. In the afternoon you go ahead to the region`s capitol Bozen to visit "Ötzi" (Men of the ice) in the museum of archeology. Afterwards you drive over famous wine road to the lake of Kaltern, where you visit one of the well known wine cellars and get introduced to the best wines of South Tyrol. In the evening you return to your hotel for dinner. Enjoy it with some live music and go for a dance.
3. day: Hiking the alps
Little hike with stop at an original alp to have a snack. In the afternoon a trip to "St. Johann" to visit the museum of minerals. Dinner in the hotel.
4. day: Ritten - Bruneck
After breakfast you start with a local guide to the Ritten with a small hike to the famous "Erdpyramiden". On your way beck you stop in Bruneck for sightseeing. In the evening you return to your hotel; dinner.
5. day: South Tyrolean event
Depending on the date you participate at an original event. In the evening "törggelen" in you hotel hotel with live music. Around 11 pm you get the "original south tyrolean "Törggeleplatte" (sweet chesnuts, wine, fruit...).
6. day: Round trip through the dolomites
After breakfast you go for a riund trip trough the dolomites with a local guide. The tour: From the starting point to Bruneck - Toblach lake of Toblach passing by at the cementery of heroes Heldenfriedhof (1 world war) trough the "Höhlenstein" valley to the Misurina lake. Here you have the possibility to take a picture of the world famous "3 Zinnen" (3 pinnacles) and have a short break. You go on over the "3 Kreuz-Pass" to Cortina d'Ampezzo. Go ahead over the "Falzarego Pass", over the "Pordoijoch-Grödnerjoch" to Corvora, through the Gadertal back to Bruneck and back to you hotel for dinner.
7. day: Copper mine - Hl. Geist - museum of mining
After breakfast you get deep into the Ahrntal with a local guide to visit the old copper mine in Prettau. During that you get the chance to learn something about the local traditional handicraft. After that you go ahead for the village Prettau. After a little walk you see a little church the place of pilgrimage "Heilig Geist" (holy gost) and see the full bloom of the wild crocuses. For lunch you get to the "Jagahütte" (hunter`s hut) to eat something real tyrolean. In the afternoon you go to Steinhaus to visit the museum on mining to get even more information on the old copper mine in Prettau. In the evening you get back to the hotel. Enjoy the dia show about south tyrol after dinner.
8. day: Departure
